Two Week Old Feeds

My DD is 15 days old today, she is bottle fed and we've been giving her 5oz of milk as 3/4 wasn't enough but she's starting crying for more!

She was 2 weeks overdue and was 9.2 when born and is now 9.13, am I feeding her too much?

If she's crying for more, feed her more?

I do but I fear I'm over feeding her because of her age. She's not vomiting so I guess it's okay.

Should of mentioned I'm a FTM so weary of everything!

If you're overfeeding her she'll be sick. She's growing, just feed her what she needs and don't worry about it!

Thank you, I shall do just that!

I’m bottle feeding (expressed milk) and trying to do ‘responsive feeding’ which mimics breastfeeding. There are some good resources if you google, like this www.essentialparent.com/lesson/responsive-bottle-feeding-by-emma-pickett-16758/

Thank you, that's been helpful

My little one was only taking 3oz every 3 hours at 2 weeks but sometimes would want a top up an hour later. If she's taking it and not vomiting then she obviously needs it. We did the whole responsive feeding as they're not into a routine there's no one rule for one baby, feed her until she's full 😊
