Hi Op,
Just stay on the current formula from birth, no need to change the only difference is the follow on milk has more iron, but that's not required either as you will be weaning either now or soon, and just include iron rich foods as that a much better source of iron.

If you refer to first nutrition website as they explain why to keep on the first stage formula as well plus the WHO recommend this also.

Lastly the only reason follow on formula exists so companies can advertise their brands.

My ds has first milk until 6 months, follow on milk from 6 to 12 months, then toddler milk from 12 months until he stopped having milk.
They say there's no need to change but we wanted to

1st milk until 12 months then cows milk here

Absolutely no reason to change. Infant formula cannot be advertised in the EU so the companies push this as an alternative to infant formula or breast milk. It's just not necessary for your baby.

@IWouldLikeToKnow this is absolutely true. 'Follow on milk' is completely unnecessary and just a way of making money out of people.
