Alfamino (and similar) preparation

For parents using Alfamio, Nutramigen etc.
How do you prepare bottles? Dietician in hospital told us to prepare the milk exactly the same way as normal formula, and we looked no further- I actually used to use perfect prep, but then we switched to using half boiled water in kettle to 80 degrees, mixed powder, and added half cold water from the fridge (boiled and then cooled in fridge).

Now someone told me you mix powder with room temp water, which is all new to me. I read the instructions on the tin several times, and it says to boil and cool for no longer than 30 minutes, which is exactly the same as regular formula?

My daughter is on Althéra which a hydrolysed milk for babies with CPMA.
The instructions say to make it up with 40-degree water so that’s exactly what I do.
If you have any doubt call the consumer care line on the tin of formula and they will be best placed to advise

Some do require you to use room temperature water but if you're says to use hot then that's fine
