My last breastfeed

... Was one week ago. Tonight I put Ds to bed for the first time in a week (dp has been doing bedtimes, but was out tonight), and Ds didn't ask for a feed. So I think that is the end of that. He is two years and seven months old. We were ready to stop, but I feel suddenly very emotional about it.

Thank you. Ds dropped daytime and morning feeds by himself. Aged about two we night weaned, because he was waking up so often. So we were down to the bedtime feed only. Dp put him to bed every night for a week - he still laid down with him, but obviously no boob. Ds grumbled a bit for the first few nights, but was cross rather than upset. Tonight, I had to put him to bed as dp was out, so I laid down with him and gave him a cuddle, and he didn't ask for a feed.
