No appetite but hungry. Gone off normal food

I’m 7 + 4 weeks pregnant and haven’t suffered from any morning sickness or nausea but all of a sudden I have just lost all of my appetite even though I’m hungry and the thought of foods that I once loved just make me feel sick to my stomach. I can get part way through a plate of food before I feel so full even though I’ve barely touched it and the only thing I seem to be craving is very salty chips with loads of ketchup. I’m vegan, which means my diet is usually full of very healthy whole foods but I just can’t stomach any of it :( does anyone else suffer from similar symptoms? How can I settle my stomach or get past this phase?

I'd just eat what your body is craving, alongside pregnancy multivitamins and not worry too much about it.

I agree with AssassinatedBeauty -- eat what you can for now, with your vitamins. The healthy vegan diet you had before, and vitamins to top you up, will mean a few weeks (or even longer!) of chips won't really hurt you or the baby. I ate far more chips during pregnancy than beforehand. Blush Also, make sure you're drinking some extra water, as sometimes craving salt is a sign of dehydration.

Just eat whatever you can. Take vitamins and folic acid and drink lots. This stage will pass, I promise.
Remember that your baby will be fine-it's evolutionarily programmed to take what it needs from you. Think of it as a taster of wht it will do to your bank account for the rest of your life!
