Hello,

My DS is 11months today and I was wondering how much of a meal he eats compares to others his age.

I've attached before and after photos of this evenings meal and wondered what your thoughts were

Mine are older now but that looks fine. Mine all ate different amounts day to day. If you look up the portion size guide online you can see what the experts say.

Just to add on a hungry day my 2.5 day would eat the whole plate, on another day he might each one piece of chicken.

As PP said, measure the weekly amount - they might eat nothing for a day or two then chow down!

I reckon that looks like quite a lot of food, btw, my 2 year old might struggle to finish that.

That is a huge amount!
my 12 month old boy would probably eat 4 bits of the chicken, one broccoli, loads of the sweet potato and then his yoghurt and we thought he was doing well!

I think you're really giving too much- that amount of veg looks like adult quantity to me
