DS turned 1 last week, and since his birthday, more or less, he has literally been attached to me. He's started pulling my clothes and popping boobs out whenever he can, he's back to waking every 1-2 hours for milk, and I'm just exhausted. As a newborn, he was always an efficient feeder - 5-10 minutes and done, but now he's literally attached to the boob for hours at a time if I don't unlatch him - and even when I do, he roots back around for it most of the time. I'm certain he's feeding more than he did when he was tiny. He still eats three good meals and snacks in a day, and is offered water with most meals, so I don't think it's about hunger.
He's just come out of a spell with a poorly tummy, and I think he's teething, but he's never been this bad with either of those things before. Is this normal at this age and stage, and when can I expect it to end? Always wanted to go natural term, and still hoping to, so I know I'm in for the long haul, but I need to know this isn't my life now, and that I won't have a wardrobe full of t-shirts with funky necklines when my bf journey is over!
