Tommee Tippee steriliser

Hi, feeling a bit daft!

Expecting my first baby in a few weeks and I was lucky enough to be gifted a tommee tippee electric steriliser set at my baby shower. Can anyone tell me if I need to buy steriliser tablets for it? I've googled this but can't seem to find an answer (which I assume means no, but I want to be sure!).

Not for an electric one as it will use steam (you will add water to the machine). A cold water one would use tablets

Nope but pick up some descaling liquid as they do need descaling very frequently otherwise everything comes out pretty rancid

Depends if you have hard water I suppose (I dont). You can use vinegar to descale too

Nope. It uses steam to sterilise. I bought a huge bottle of white vinegar to decale it from time to time.
