Switching from expressed BM to formula

Hi!
So DS is now 6 months and I've been exclusively pumping until now, and it's time for me to switch to formula as the stress of pumping is just too much now. At the moment he's still having about 5 feeds per day, 3 thawed breast milk and 2 formula. When he has breast milk he has about 150ml per bottle. On the formula, the tub says for his weight he should be drinking about 210 ml per feed, but he's only drinking the 150ml that he's been used to. Is this going to be enough once we're completely switched to formula, or is it just a case of waiting for his body to adjust? Also has anyone else who's made the switch noticed any difficulties i.e gas/constipation? TIA!

As he’s 6 months I wouldn’t worry too much about the quantities. Hace you started him on solids yet? Between 6 and 12 months the minimum he needs is 600ml in 24 hours, which he will be getting. As long as there’s is some left in the bottle st the end of a feed, he’s getting enough Smile

Thanks for replying! Just started trying him on purée but he doesn't seem fond so far so not forcing it. That's put my mind at ease though thank you :)
