PrettyCandles - yes, ask your dh to come, the more the merrier! and the more sausage rolls the merrier too!

Oh I absolutely agree! Besides, if he doesn't come then I'll have to carry everything myself - and what are big, strong men for, after all?

Lizzzombie · 19/05/2007 07:34

have a super time

is it true one now needs a police approved permit to demo in parliement square now?

theUrbanDryad · 19/05/2007 22:03

suzy - yes, tis true, under the Serious Organised Crime Act (2005) you need to have police permission for any gathering within a mile of Parliament.

thank you so much to those who came - it was a lovely afternoon and fantastic to meet all of you. thanks to indiemummy for the placards, and thanks to cazee for the almond cake, and thanks to Lizzz for the booby cakes and thanks to whoever it was for the "embarassingly nice ham" (sorry, brain freeze, have forgotten who you were!) and thanks for coming! i think we should do another one in a few months' time and see if we can get some more Press interest.

would you all be ok if i used the pictures we took and sent them as part of press releases? i know of at least one website who will publish them. no names obviously, but indiemummy, your ds holding the placard is a lovely picture!
