Summer Nursing Clothes

My baby is due mid-June and I am planning to try and mix feed. I have seen most people say they don't buy nursing clothes and just do the thing where people wear a vest under a top. However I don't really want to be wearing an extra layer all throughout summer if I breastfeed, what do people do when it's hot?

Honestly, I still wear a vest top underneath! I’ve got one under my t-shirt today. I didn’t yesterday though, I just had a t-shirt on and pulled it up.

Button down loose tops/ dresses. The Facebook group ‘can I breastfeed in it UK” is great for ideas for breastfeeding friendly clothes.

If button down rather than one up one down I’d generally sling a muslin over for feeds

This is such a difficult one! I mostly wore two layers, and I really missed wearing dresses. Next time around I think I will invest in a few Jojo/Vertbaudet nursing dresses.

I'm pretty bad at regulating my temperature and one of those people who seem to be freezing one minute and boiling the next, and I struggle when I feel too hot so I really can't see myself wearing a vest underneath a t-shirt on hot days Confused. But also am skint so can't buy loads of expensive nursing clothes...have asked to join that FB group, thanks for the suggestion.
