yucky bottles advice please

7 month old DD - i no longer sterilise (and I'd like to report - has been fine, not poorly at all, what a lot of fuss about nothing!)

Regardless - I wash my bottles in hot washing up liquidy water and scrub them, they all come out lovely and clean but the teats all smell of my lemon fairy liquid - its yucky!
and im washing them and rinsing them with clean water, LOTS but the smell wont go

help me

I used to fill the teats with salt rub it around a bit and rinse thoroughly

salt?

Mine went in the dishwasher and were replaced every so often.

salt rubs off the fat deposits from the milk

use non-scented washing up liquid?
