BF - low supply after a tummy bug - advice please!

I am BF 7mo ds morning afternoon and bedtime now he is weaned. Had most awful tummy bug at the weekend, couldn't even keep water down for 24 hours and got really dehydrated. Am recovered now but milk seems poor and in low supply and ds woke for feed at 1 am last night - haven't fed him at night for ages, and he was really thirsty.
I usually express each morning to give to ds at night (in addition to his bedtime bf) and the last 2 morning my expressing has been low (norm 5oz, 3 yesterday, 1/2 today, but then did feed in night) and looks really watery.
How long should it take for things to right themselves do you think? Do I need to do anything to get it going again? Was ill Sunday night, started drinking again monday night and eating properly yesterday.
Any advice welcome!!

Also, at this stage, does amount/quality of milk really have an effect on night waking? DS eats a lot of everything!

Cakes - sometimes mothers do find a very temporary dip after an illness, but it really is temporary as long as you continue to bf, and in your case it would be worth increasing the no. of feeds/expressing sessions, maybe even doubling them, to bring it back....a mum with a younger, more frequently feeding baby would find the freq. feeding would bring it back ok, but in your case, you need to take more pro-active action. You can always cut back later if you need to.

Good luck

Night waking, by the way, is unrelated to the amount of food or milk a baby has.
