9wks and i am bleeding - is this normal

Just searching for a bit of advice - I have breast fed my daughter since birth and was notexpecting my periods to return yet. But I had a small bleed 4 days ago with nothing again until this morning. Is this normal? Can't seem to find any advice in any books so I though I would try the font of all knowledge on Mumsnet!

a) they might return earlier - is she sleeping through?

b) It might be a random post natal bleed.

my period returned after 8 weeks, even though I was bfing 2-3 hourly day and night.

Could be your period - will only know if it happens again in four weeks.

My periods returned after 7 weeks with one of my kids, and she was fed round-the-clock. My next child, they came back around 10 weeks and I was RTC tandem nursing.
