Expressed milk in sippy cup

GMtoBe · 23/04/2018 11:18

I've just given dd some expressed milk in a sippy cup freshly expressed about half an hour ago because I'm trying to get her used to drinking from it. She hasn't drank all of it, do I need to discard what is left or can I keep it for later?

I know this is too late to actually be useful in this instance, but breastmilk can be kept for a while after being drunk from. It's probably best to refrigerate it if you do. The website Kellymom has some useful information about how long you should keep it for:
