does DS1 absolutely love breastfeeding? He's 25 months old, continually asks for it (new baby sister could be contributing factor here) and is frantic with impatience at bedtime for bfing.

He's such a Daddy's boy usually and is not interested in me in the slightest otherwise. Not that I mind particularly but I don't think he bfs to be close to me, IYSWIM.

Anyone got any info? I'm just wondering if he'll EVER self wean!

I often wonder if DS (2.9yrs) will still be bfing when he is 16....but then I realise that of course he wont & he will just carry on until he is ready to wean. I remember that is biologically normal for him to want comfort & closeness & help going off to sleep & still need some nutrition & antibodies from it & I still lurve bfing him (especially after my GP asked if I would consider stopping )...
