Hello
Would really appreciate some wise mums advice as I'm a first time mum Smile
My baby is 5 months old I've been introducing formula for a while and she's up to 3 bottles a day now and breast other times. Since giving her 3 bottles however she now goes much longer in between feeds and sometimes doesn't want all of her milk (6/7oz) it's likes she's dropped a feed but doesn't mind ? Is that normal ?
She has never had a problem with feeding and processes her wind so well!
Would be nice to get her to feed more in the day so I can get some extra sleep at night Grin

Yes this is normal, formula takes longer to process than breast milk so fills them up for longer. My DD (5 months) can go for 3 hours after a breastfeed but 5 after a bottle. Time your formula bottles for just before bed so get maximum sleep!

Also, feed on demand if you're worried about how much baby is taking. If they go a bit longer between feeds at 5 months its no big deal.
