We are going to a wedding in April in Lake District and will be first time we have stayed away with LO who will be 8 months.
Appreciate any advice in what to take and what will need. There is so much to think about, feeds, keeping him entertained, naps and worrying about not disrupting the wedding. Any advice appreciated.

Defintely take a pushchair he can nap in if the day gets too much.

Definitely take some finger foods to keep him entertained whilst your eating (if your there for the whole day!) I find kiddyliscious wafers are a god send for that sort of thing. If you bottle feed then take along ready made formula, sippy cup etc

take his favourite toys or small toys to keep him entertained that don't take up too much room and perhaps a new toy to keep him occupied a bit longer.

as pp said, take along the buggy, if he naps in the buggy you'll just have to realise that you may have to miss bits of the wedding whilst you walk him to sleep!

Maybe a sling if he likes going in a sling?

Change of clothes and pyjamas, usual nighttime blanket/ soother/ white noise machine

I have an 8.5 month old who has just learnt to crawl, I find if I'm out and about popping her on the floor entertains her for ages, and I pop her toys on the floor with her (probably a shock horror to some but easier than her getting fed up and shouting in her high chair!)

Just relax and have fun and tag team with your husband so you do baby care in shifts!
