Posted too soon. I’ve lost over a stone. My BMI is now at 16 and my GP has advised that I need to stop feeding my DS. My problem is how?! If I refuse him he just screams his heart out and I find it so hard to say no to him when he’s so upset. All suggestions welcome.

Start with day time weaning. Offering milk in a sippy cup. If he really shouts could someone else offer it to him, you go out for the day. Then once you have him off the boob in the day, it might take a few, move to just morning and bed time feed ( send dp to baby in the night). It'll be hard but doable.

Is there a reason you've struggled with your weight? I'm wondering if there's an underlying issue there? I have coeliac disease and had lots of problems gain weight before diagnosis.
