Posted in Travel but prob more likely to get a response here:

Has anyone got experience of travelling with breastmilk?

I am aware that I can take it on the plane and it doesn't need to be

I’m an expat and this came up on a local breastfeeding group recently - the advice, believe it or not, was to pack it in dry ice! Apparently that’s a thing.

I’ve found the post and most airlines allow 2.5kg per passenger in a single box - you can get a lot of breastmilk bags in with 2.5kg of dry ice apparently.

Oh and this is to be checked in, not hand luggage.

Apparently Eskimo Ice in London can help with supply and packing

That sounds expensive feesh ❄️❄️❄️

I’m only taking 8oz of milk. Was toying with idea of popping it in freezer for an hour before leaving to give it a better chance
