Posted in Travel but prob more likely to get a response here: Has anyone got experience of travelling with breastmilk? I am aware that I can take it on the plane and it doesn't need to be <100ml however I'm confused as to how to keep it cool. It's a 4.5 hour flight so including the travel to airport/check in and transfer to resort we are looking at around 9 hours. I've got a cool bag but that won't keep it cold enough for 9 hours transport The government website mentions 'a cooling gel pack' being allowed. I know I can't take the milk frozen but can the gel pack be frozen? I've asked both airlines that we are flying with (ryanair and thomas cook) but both 'live chats' just resulted in them copying and pasting the information already on the website. Both have said ice packs are not allowed so I'm really confused about how not to spoil the milk.
