bf with massive norks in public

How do you manage it? They are bigger than my baby's head! and I have to look to get him on, and its really difficult to undo bra lift nork up and if I move everything descends south and he falls off!there is nothing discrete about it even with a shawl etc, any tips?

I was in this situation, They still are bigger than her head and she's 14 months!

I founda combo of either very baggy tops so I had plenty of strecth to lift up and vests undernbeath to pull down and cover belly helped. I also went out a few times with a shirt over a vest as that helped with hiding sideviews.

How old is he? I found once we had got past the first few weeks and I was a bit more practiced it got a lot easier and I promise, at some point you won't think twice about it!

I have ordered a rooti tooti vest to go under loose tops, I hope they fit in the holes as they do tend to swing low!

He is 3wks but this is my 4th they are getting bigger(norks not babies!)its also getting everything back in bra which is a two handed job re aranging breastpad ect, and the vests with built in bras are so small, they have no room at the sides and are too low cut.

God those vests with bras are rubbish, aren't they? I put one on once and DH banned me from leaving the house, it just about covered nipples but left everything else bulging out all around...adnd that was an XL!

I have 32Js and Bf in public all teh time.[brazen hussy emoticon]. It gets easier when the baby can latch himself on and you can just point him in the general direction. personally I am more worried about flashing the large rolls of fat around my middle when my top pulls up at the back . they shoudl send me to schoosl to do sex education programees for teenage girsl. i coudl flash my saggy old body and all the girls woudl go out and get sterilised there and then

Im currently wearing a 42H (although I think theyve shrunk a bit since I bought my last bras) but was a 42J at my biggest point when DS was smaller & feeding more often. The things I have found worked are:

*hold your baby so that they are going to the breast at its natural level - that way if you do need to move to have a drink etc yourself the boob doesnt move coz its already at its lowest point iyswim

*When DS wanted a feed I got someone else to hold him (or left him in his pram) until I had got my boobs ready...nowadays I just tell him to wait (he is 2.9ys btw)...& I unhook the bra through the neckline of my top & then reach under my top (from the bottom hem iyswim) & pull the cup off my boob, at the same time holding the top down with my other arm so it doesnt ride up.....that way its already out & ready to feed but still covered up iyswim. Then I pick DS up put him in position ready to feed...& then lift up my top from the bottom so I am only showing minimal boob & waist as his head covers most of it. I found practicing in front of a mirror at home helped because then you can see just how little you do show....it also helps sitting sideways on from a mirror so you can see where your nipple is if you cant see it from your pov...eventually you will both get the hang of it so your LO latches himself on & you wont need to see it . When he had finished I would quickly put my top back over the exposed boob then handed him back to DH or whoever I was with or put him in his buggy & then Id have 2 hand to put my boob back in the bra & do it up.

I dont wear any special bfing tops btw - just baggy tops & nursing bras...
