Not mastitis, what could this be?

I've been exclusively breastfeeding DS for five months, found it tricky at the start due to oversupply but have been fine for months now. He uses my left breast 80% of the time but this has been working for us for the last few months.

Yesterday evening my other breast became very sore and engorged which hasn't happened since the early days. He ate from it and it's soft, doesn't feel bumpy, no redness, but hours later it is still incredibly sore to touch. I have had mastitis before and don't think it's that as I can't feel or see any blocked ducts.

Any ideas?

Maybe you did have a blocked duct and he cleared it? Mine would always hurt for about a day after I'd had one.

Or could it be a milk blister?
