I am trying to do this and finding it difficult. The problem is with ds’s latch. He’s 2 weeks old. We are mainly feeding him expressed milk from a bottle, with the odd breastfeed (when he’s in the mood / all the stars align) and occasionally having to top up with formula, if he won’t latch and we don’t have any expressed milk to hand.
I’m trying to get help with the latch, but can only access an nhs baby clinic, as every nearby, qualified Lactation consultant I can find, I have contacted and they won’t travel to my area, (I can’t drive due to csection).
Hoping someone else has managed to overcome this and might have some tips.
