6m old - Formula '2' or '3' for evening feed?

I BF during day but have started to give Formula for bedtime feed as I seem to be really low then, but DS has never taken a lot (3-5oz usually). Now he is six months old should I use the 'hungrier baby' milk or the 'follow-on' milk?

Any advice much appreciated!

is he sleeping well? afaik, formula 1 does up to a year and will do him fine if he is not hungry.
2 milk can cause constipation.....

No need to change at all and if he isn't taking much formula then he was probably fine on bm anyway tbh

I would say don't change! He sounds happy, '1' is fine up to a year and imo 2 and 3 are unnecessary.

Why do you think your milk supply is low? I thought it couldnt happen at this stage. My daughter is nearly 6 months, I've had lots of people tell me to give formula as she is no longer sleeping through the night. I don't think that a full breast feed can keep a 19lb asleep for 12 hours IMO.
