Bottle feeding problems!

My little girl is 15weeks old. I’ve had problems feeding her since day 1. She has always been ‘reluctant’ she is bottle fed. We have tried every bottle/teat/formula there is but every time we try to feed her, she screams, refuses the bottle, shakes her head and generally will not take anything. Has anyone thought about a tongue tie?

R184 · 11/01/2018 22:09

She was checked when she was born, I was told she has a very mild tongue tie but it didn’t need snipping and would sort it’s self out once she started bottle feeding (was in nicu with a tube for a few days).

Might be worth getting a specialist to have a look.

the people at Milk Matters can help you. HVs and GPs are not really often on the ball with TTs.

NB Milk matters are at pains to point out that they consult about bottle fed babies not just BFing.
