Soft bra acting as nursing bra?

I'm 6 months pregnant and have recently bought some soft, non-underwired bras for comfort. I'm wondering if these will be ok for breastfeeding later, or if I'll need those special ones that flap down? The cups can be pulled down quite easily.

Worked for me, but I'm not very busty. You might get a growth spurt in final weeks and need something with more scaffolding - but I'd stick with them for now, you can always order online once the baby arrives!

Me neither! I suppose I could always get bigger ones of the flappy kind if I experience a sudden growth spurt.

That's what I use because I hate the clips. I'm 34DD.

@Foggymist is that because they're uncomfortable? Or fiddly?

If it's not uncomfortable to pull the cups down, then why not? Personally, I found the clippy sort easier and more comfortable.

Don't forget your boobs will probably get a lot bigger. Also, you might want to use breast pads to stop leaks, which could slide about and dislodge in something very unstructured.

I find them fiddly and irritating as hell, my first son was very "high needs" and would be roaring crying immediately on waking, adding the fiddly clips to the faff of moving clothing out of the way to feed was just a step too far for me! But it is difficult to keep breast pads in place if needed, I don't need them 99% of the time and my breast size never changed so it suits me fine.
