Duration of feed

My DD is 4 weeks old and recently her feeds have become shorter (to like 15min). She comes off the boob herself and is sleepy floppy and generally milk drunk.
Is this enough time to drain the boob? I generally change her then offer her a short time on the other one.
Thanks

If your baby is healthy and thriving, and gaining weight as she should then the length of her feed is irrelevant. 15 mins is within normal - some babies need more time, some less. Most vary!

Babies don't need to drain the breast - in fact it's more less impossible to do this.

If she's ok, then the BF is ok. Have her weighed and I hope you find reassurance.

As mine got bigger and stronger, their feeds got quicker too - i guess they got more efficient!

Sounds like you & your DC are doing a great job

Thanks both. I'll get her weighed next week just in case
