And it really hurts! That side is already sore with a blocked duct and I think might be getting another milk blister.
Why has she suddenly started doing this?! And how can I make her stop?

Ouch, sorry you’re hurting! Have recently had mastitis caused by blocked duct and dd did the exact same thing on that side! Think it was frustration as she had to work much harder to unblock it and get the milk flowing. Once it was unclogged she went back to normal so fingers crossed it will pass for you too!

Lots of hot compresses help the flow and massage before feed and she should be able to unblock a bit easier, thus less angry (and excruciating) tugging!

Oh, that is interesting, thank you! I usually have an oversupply & fast let down, so perhaps it is that. Usually she’s clamping down to slow the flow. Cor. It’s not easy is it?

I would probably say that it is the case then. Mines exactly the same so was definately not the most patient when flow suddenly slowed down! It most certainly isn’t but if we can get through the joys of bfing we can get through anything haha!
