i've noticed in the last few days my breast milk has started increasing, i stopped feeding ds about 4 weeks ago (he was 6 1/2months) and in the last few days ive started producing more.
could this be due to having brain surgery last wednesday (i had a tumor removed!!) and a combination of stereoids and anti-convulsant drugs or separation for 3 weeks and now back together with ds, advice from any health profs would be good

Rachael - don't have the necessary knowledge but I do remember that pituitary tumours cause prolactinaemia which increases milk production. However, if that was the type of tumour you had, and it is now removed, then the milk production should be reducing I would have thought. However, it might be that you are squeezing the breast to see if there is milk there? If you are doing that you are stimulating milk production IYSWIM? Are you planning to restart breastfeeding? If not, it should start to lessen if there is no stimulation. However, if you are worried I think you should speak to your specialist. Have you a follow-up appointment soon?
