Using 9 Oz Mam bottles in the Tommee Tippee Stream Steriliser

Hi, this is my first post on here, me and my partner have recently had a baby girl, she is 3 weeks old tomorrow and was 7.2lbs when born.

She has been moving up with her feeding a good bit and now wants a 5 oz bottle every 3-4 hours.

i was looking at the bigger bottles we have which are the 9 Oz ones and got a little worried if they are ok in the steriliser we have, which is the Tommee Tippee electric steam steriliser, as when we bought it we liked the looks of this one more, but liked the looks of the Mam anti colic bottles more than the Tommee Tippee ones.

The issue was when i place the 9 Oz Mam bottles into the steriliser, the 2nd compartment seems to sit a little on top of the bottles, is this ok and will it still sterilise the bottles fine?

Is anyone else here using the same combination and found its fine, or asked the same question?

The lid of the steriliser still fits properly on the unit so there are no extra gaps into the unit.

Thanks

James

We use 8oz Mandela bottles in the tommy tippee steriliser and have had the same issue , I think so long as the top fits on it’s fine x

I think it’s fine. The bottom shouldn’t be screwed on to the bottles when you’re sterilising then though so I just put the separately if I have space.

Thanks for the replies, this also is with the bottom screwed off, its the case its self that the 2nd compartment is sitting on a bit, the base is off and just turned sideways next to the bottles
