I can't seem to find the answer to this... if I'm just using a bottle for drink of water do I still need to sterilise? Thanks in advance

Can you not use a cup? I never gave water in a bottle.

If baby is old enough for water (6 months) I think things don't need sterilising anyway?

Yes you still need to sterilize the bottle. Water is not recommended for babies under six months.

Bottles are supposed to be sterilised for formula until 1 year

DS is 8months, we use a cup in the day but I was thinking of starting to give water at night to wean him off breast feeding so much and I thought a bottle would be better?? Might be wrong, not sure. He's never really had a bottle. Any thoughts greatly appreciated

You don’t need to sterilise anything you use now, but maybe still use a cup designed for 6 months + instead of an infant bottle, if thats what he’s using during the day

I was wondering if a bottle would give more comfort?
