Breast Feeding Efficiency

Hi. Is it possible that my six and a half week old son would already be getting more efficient at breastfeeding? He seems to spend less time feeding at the moment. Perhaps this is just a leap? He is also sleeping more. I hope he is getting enough food. Any input gratefully received.

Yes they get more efficient as they get older Smile

If he's having at least 5 very wet colourless nappies a day, he is almost definitely getting enough. You don't count poopy nappies after 6 weeks as they can go up to 10 days without pooping (or do 10 per day!) just incase you didn't know.
