Mine had toast fingers, with cream cheese or hummous on. Or chunks of chorizo occasionally (not often due to salt), they loved it and it kept them busy for half an hour. Also good for teething. Bits of cheese. Oatcakes with stuff on, often peanut butter. DD liked cold boiled potato, but I think that was a bit unusual...

Mine loved avocado mashed with banana, greek yoghurt mixed with houmous (they loved that for some odd reason), soft pear, baby rice cakes and baby bread sticks, little squares of wholemeal bread with cream cheese on. Then, later on toast, pate, oatcakes, slivers of cheese, peach, cucumber. Can't remember exactly when they started to eat all these things but whenever they are ready, you can try them.
