Is it the bottles? The formula? Just wind?

DS is 4 days old, the first few days he was fine with feeding but last night when he woke up for a bottle he went from 0 to 1000 in no time, I mean screaming he's head off bobbing around for something to suck. As soon as he gets the bottle (MAM ones) he can easily down 3 ounces. Trouble is we try to burp him but no burps come out, then he's sick all over himself, then it starts again as he's hungry an hour later. Is he just being sick as he's not burping? Could the bottles be making the wind worse? Are we leaving him too long to sleep sometimes so he's getting too hungry and guzzling too quick? Sorry we're in the newborn haze still and I don't want another night of constant sick, screaming and no sleep Sad

We used Tommee Tippee bottles and Aptamil to start and had a similar problem. We switched to Hipp milk at about 5 days old but kept the bottles and saw a huge improvement in the sickness and wind. (However we did then find out our daughter had a milk intolerance so she's on lactose free now following huge constipation issues).

My DD also ended up with lactose free milk after lots of feeding problems and sleepless nights, hoping we don't have a repeat performance. I might see if it was just a bad one off and if not try a different formula

It took us about a week on the Hipp to stop the wind and sickness I think. Fingers crossed you find something that works!

Just want to second the Hipp, made a massive difference to us.
