Cute names you call your baby when feeding (boobie bandit)

Sometimes feeding my lo can be a little boring (massive cluster feed sessions happening) I've started calling her the beast of boobie or the boobie bandit. What do you call you hungry babe?

Somersetsinger you lo defo has some logic mouth is the end game after all lol, when I started this thread I was more thinking more nicknames, pet names what we refer to our babies breast or bottle feed not necessarily wether we would vocalise and name it boobie w/e. Tbh word boobie does bring a big smile to my face.

DS1 was Bugly because his ears always looked massive and one got a bit squished because he always laid that way round to nurse!

When my lo is having a fuss I call her baby beetroot. Or When she's breastfeeding I refer to her as the baby that's trying to eat the moon as my breasts are large especially compared to her 5'3 lb at birth.

Ds was "staring frog" because that's precisely what he did, drink and stare at me for hours on end.

Firstimefreaked · 25/09/2017 22:14

5'10 woowzers I'm trying to imagine her fitting into 9 month clothes atm

Milky Chops when she pops off the boob suddenly letting milk run out of her mouth.

If she's messing around on the boob rather than feeding properly then when she next unlatches I say 'bye bye boob' and shove the boob back in my bra.

Firstimefreaked · 25/09/2017 22:15

Oh dinosaur I totally get that did she bump her fists together? My mum says she has soulful eyes but staring frogs far more accurate!

All these names make me laugh and giggle during this cluster feed marathon!

I WILL NOT call them boobs or boobies. God no.

Smallest child is like a tiny piranha though, especially at cluster feed time. His older brother calls it 'mummy milk', and told him yesterday to 'get on your milk!' when he was crying. I quite like that.

BrutusMcDogface · 25/09/2017 22:24

"Get on your milk!" That's brilliant! Grin

dontbesillyhenry · 25/09/2017 22:28

Very puerile

ovenchips · 26/09/2017 07:02

Boob, boobs, boobies=most wince inducing words ever. I cannot stand hearing them so cannot find any expression using these words cute.

I detested how often midwives etc used the term and always wondered when they'd make a decision to just call it 'Boobfeeding'. Aaargh.

I've jus had a weekend of my SIL staying with us and talking about her 'milky feeders' pretty much non-stop. Shudder.

Well you asked for cute names. Mine was spudlet mcfudlet.
But boob? Hell no. Nothing more embarrassing than whiny toddlers screaming for 'boobies' its horrible. Its a horrible word.
