Question re cold water sterilising

Hi,

I've just bought the Avent natural bottles for my son. Unfortunately the microwave steamer doesn't fit in my microwave.

Has anyone used Milton cold water steriliser on these bottles and were they ok? The instructions don't suggest you can and I don't want to damage them.

Thanks

Have you tried taking the plate out of your microwave? We did that and then the steriliser fit.

But to answer your question, I have sterilised my Avent bottles in Milton and they are absolutely fine.

Thanks for that, that's really helpful. When you took the plate out, did the steriliser still rotate?

It doesn't rotate but it's not a problem at all. I have twins so was sterilising about four times a day and never did any damage to the microwave or bottles.
