Ok, so I have been BF for 6 weeks now- no soreness. yesterday one breast started to get sore (nipple soreness) and it hasn't gone away. It is sore between feeds too and hurts when he initialy gets on and less so suring feed. I think it feels a little hot (but can't really tell). Fairly sure latch is ok and I can't see any cracks. Pain is not what i would describe as stabbing and nothing wrong with other breast and no visible white stuff in lo's mouth.
What's going on? Do I have thrush- how do i tell and what should i do about this?

There have been other thrush threads on here recently, so do a search for more details. It could well be thrush and needs to be treated - you and the baby. See your GP/HV asap as it quickly gets worse if not dealt with. Bitter experience talking here!
Good luck.
