Weaning - how do I know when to reduce his milk

Hello!

My baby is now 8 months. I started weaning him at 6 months. He has dropped 2 milk feeds himself, but still has one mid morning and mid afternoon before his naps, and one big bottle before bed. Will he naturally drop the pre-nap feeds when he is ready? Or am I meant to replace the milk with snacks? When is it normal for them not to have any milk?

Thank you!
