12 Week old has started fussing at every bottle. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Arghhh, LO (12 weeks) has just started over the last week being really difficult with feeding. He is only taking on average between 4-5oz 6 times in 24 hrs - is this enough????

He cries at every bottle and struggles whilst you are feeding him. He takes 3oz no problems and then starts fussing, if I then try to wind him he gets in a right paddy and won't take any more of the bottle.

I am concerned he is not getting enough milk and I just don't know why he has started doing this?? There is no explanation. Feel really frustrated

Using Avent bottles with number 2 teats and he is on Aptamil Stage 1.

Anyone got any suggestions???

avent number 2's are slow flow which say they are for up to 3 months. Have you tried size 3 which is medium flow and recommended from 3 months? Your lo may just be frustrated with the flow rate.

If that doesnt halp then you will just have to accept that your lo is not wanting as much milk as before.

Also what weight is your lo as the rule of thumb is 2.5 ounces per lb of body weight e.g. a 10lb baby may have around 25oz per 24 hours. (some babies would need more or less than this however)
