Hi everyone, I'm a new mum to a beautiful 19-week old baby boy. He's recently changed the way he feeds and I wondered if anyone else had experienced the same thing or could offer any advice please?
He now wakes up and takes about 50-60ml of milk, then stops. We then play and do activities for a while. Then when it comes to putting him back down for his nap he takes the rest of his milk (150-200ml). He's bottle fed.
I should point out he's not falling asleep as I feed him, he's still going down awake and drowsy and he can still self settle pretty well.
I've tried to get him to take more milk before play time but he's just not interested. It's like he wants some milk when he wakes up to take the edge of his hunger and then the rest just before he goes to sleep. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Is it something that could cause me trouble in the future or am I just over analysing!
