Milton travel cold water steriliser - how to use?

Just checking I'm not being daft! Interested in getting this. Like the idea of taking less bottles out for long days where possible.

But surely you have to wash the bottles before putting in the steriliser? I'm just confused because reviews I've read don't seem to mention this, and I'm thinking u must have to wash them and wondered how people do this when out and about, particularly if you're not near facilities to wash a bottle? And if you manage to find somewhere to wash up a bottle, do u take washing up liquid and a bottle brush everywhere you go too? Which is when I think things are getting more complicated and really I should just take the bottles I need lol!! I'm a bit confused!!

(I do use the MAM bottles which are self sterilising in a microwave and fab when visiting friends/family etc, but I'm thinking of using the cold water travel steriliser when out for a long day and not near microwave or washing up facilities).

Yes you do need to thoroughly wash the bottle before you sterilize it. I think the travel steriliser is more of a product that you would take on holiday or an overnight stay rather than a day out.

Ah ok. Some of the reviews mentioned great for days out which made me wonder about the logistics of that! Lol. Thanks x
