EBF baby dropping growth percentiles

My LO is now 10 weeks and is EBF. She started on the 30th centile but has dropped to the 8th. She feeds well at night when my boobs feel engorged before a feed but in the day they never feel like that as she seems to feed constantly from lunchtime til bedtime.

I'm exhausted and despite her feeding/sucking for literally hours and hours every afternoon/evening, she's dropping down.

I'm assuming my supply just isn't enough to give her full feeds in the afternoons? Is this something I can fix (not sure how I can feed any more!) or do I have to accept supplements or even doing full formula?

This could be normal but what does hv say? How are you calculating 30th and 8th? Those lines are not marked on any standard charts as far as I know. What have her weights been since birth?

Hope this works out - not enoUgh info in your post to say moreSmile

First of all, is she gaining weight?
All 5 of mine have moved centiles in the first few months, then settled down.
The birth weight if a baby is decided by your body, and depends on loads of things. After birth, they tend to move to their own size, and settle there, if that makes sense.
Is your hv concerned? If Not, don't panic, as long as she's gaining, and having plenty if wet and dirty nappies, it tends to be fine.
The constant feeding sounds like cluster feeding, and is perfectly normal.

Is she now tracking 8 percentile or steadily dropping centiles?

My DD was huge at birth - for her - you could see it in her chubby cheeks! So she dropped from 90th down to 30 ish quite quickly but then happily tracked at 30 until I stopped weighing her and that was fine for me.

The constant feeding could be to stimulate your supply but might be tongue tie or poor latch - sorry can't see OP if you've had these checked or not

So I've read it again now - if she is still dropping centiles it would be worth checking out BF groups / LLL groups in your area so a trained person can check for tongue tie and latching.

OP, can you come back and clarify?
