Cluster Feeding

I have a 5 week old baby. For the past 5-6 days, she has a couple of feeds in the morning. Then from around 2pm onwards she is on the breast constantly until around 9pm to 10pm.
She is not dehydated, appears to be getting enough milk and health visitor isn't overly concerned. I assume this is the cluster feeding people go on about? It's exhausting.

Yeh I would say that's about right. My little boy is now 8 weeks old and he cluster feeds from lunch time some. Times tea time until midnight. So I'd say dw it's just what a bf baby does best. It should settle down a bit as baby get older and starts interacting with you and their surroundings

Yup, sounds about right! Don't worry, you will cope and it does ease up! Do you have Netflix, someone to bring you food and drink?

Had this and I was tearing my hair out. The one thing that helped was getting out of the house, even just to Starbucks or a walk round the local park. And a lactation consultant also recommended that DH take the baby for an hour at the allotted time every evening to give me a chance to have a bath/read a mag whatever although it never really seemed to happen...
