Eating Issues / Communication - 19 month old (poss ASD)

Our 19 month old daughter is being referred to the community paed about possible ASD.

Asides from the communication issues (lack of speech, pointing, waving etc) our other real issue is her eating.

She is such a fussy eater, she literally only eats -

Cheerios for breakfast
Baby brand crisps (Organix)
Breadsticks
Cheese straws
Yoghurts
Fruit pots
Very occassionally a toddler meal (bought from supermarket)
Loves chicken nuggets from mcdonalds
Occassionally toast

She wont even entertain anything else literally wont even open her mouth to try anything else.

Anyone else had fussy eaters (perhaps more with ASD) and any help or advice you can offer.

On a side note - anything to help with the communication side with a poss ASD child? It is hard for us to maintain any eye contact with her. She has had grommets recently fitted to sort glue ear so she is about 6+ months behind.

Look forward to any help.

Thanks
