Does someone uses large bottles of ready made formula and what's the experience. Do you fill the bottles in advance and than just warm them up? Or fill each new baby bottle you use for the meal.

When I used them I'd feel the bottle as it was needed, then put it in a jug of very hot water for a minute or two to bring the temperature of the milk up.

Me! I just pour it as I need it and warm it. If i go out and about I use the small ones. DC3 is 8 months old and won't drink powdered so I've always done thism

Fill, not feel, obviously!

I use hot water or a microwave- microwaving doesn't damage the milk but can cause hot spots so make sure you shake it really well. For 5oz I do 20 secs if a new bottle, 30 if its cold from the fridge.

Usually make them up and pop in fridge. Then 20seconds in the microwave (for approx 200ml feeds) this brings it up to room temp (shake to even out temp)

I used them when DD needed top up, more economical than buying powder for the quantity needed. She was happy to drink it cold or under warned in a jug of hot water. I seem to remember the ready to feed kept sterile enough for 48 hours when opened but powder needs discarding after 4weeks due to it's ingredients degrading once opened.
