Dream feed? 2mo

My 2mo has just started sleeping longer in the night. Sometimes he wakes at 2.30 but can sometime go from 11pm-5.30. I never know which it's going to be but the long sleeps are bliss!

I'm worried I should be waking up to feed him. At 5.30 he wakes up hungry but no worse than he is at 2am.

I've tried to feed him when asleep before and he's completely non responsive. If he wakes up he's angry and doesn't settle again until I hand him to DH so I can nap before he has to go to work.

If it makes any difference we combi feed. He's bf throughout the day, has a formula bottle about 10pm and another at 6am if he hasn't been satisfied by the bf early morning.

I know how lucky we are to have a sleeper and I know this can change! I just don't want to be the one to change it unless he really needs to be fed during the night?

If he's doing such a long stretch at night I wouldn't be worried, especially as he seems so unhappy at being woken.

Oh god no don't wake him up!! Just let him sleep. You only need to wake newborns and babies who are underweight/failing to thrive

As pp have said, if he's gaining weight/following his line, let him sleep! And enjoy it Smile
