Reducing sertraline while breastfeeding

I've been taking 50mg a day of sertraline throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding. My understanding is that it does pass through to the baby but is thought to be safe.

I'd like to come off the sertraline now but am reading scary stories about withdrawal side effects and wondering if my baby would also go through withdrawal?

Does anybody have experience of this?
