I am a 36H cup and I am struggling to find a comfy nursing bra that offers enough support.

I have a MAVA6 but it doesn't seem to have much suport.

I have tried the mothercare one but that isn't very comfy

the bravado ones just seem to squish my boobs though the sprots style back is incredibly comfy.

I can't wear lace as it makes me itch

so your mission ladies should you wish to accept - is to find me a comfy bra with alot of support so my boobs aren't round my ankles.

Hi. I had the same problem. The fashion industry is only just waking up to the fact of ladies with 42H busts (like mine) but no one thinks that they'll need a bigger and very supportive one when they are breastfeeding. I had to settle for the mothercare floppy ones with my second pregnancy and my boobs sort of wobble around my waist most of the time. No support at all. I had some zip-up Emma Jane ones from my first pregnancy but the little plactic clasps on the straps would snap regularly (and normally in company). One did survive long enough though but the elastic has totally gone (it's still more supportive than the mothercare ones though). Wish I could help more. Have oyu tried that website ampleboosoms or something. There was programme about it a while a go.

May sound silly but have you tried M&S? I measured up to an I cup - didn't even know that they did that big - and they ordered one in for me (thankfully it was too big and ended up with a smaller one!phew!!) Can recommend their fitting service too, although their style ranges do vary in the size that you need. Good luck.

John Lewis took my order for 34JJ Emma Jane Nursing Bras over the phone and then sent them on to me. I've kept one, grey and baggy now, to embarrass my boys with in the future!

Very comfy, very hardwearing and a good price.

Have you tried Bravissimo? They specialise in selling pretty, flattering bras to women who are ahem generous in the cleavage department. Available on-line. Can't tell you how good it was to go to their shop finally when ds was 10 weeks and throw away my awful Mothercare rubbish that was giving me a delightful 'four-breasted' effect. Think the ones that fitted me were Royce but they've got lots of options.
I can't do you a link as we've got stupid Cleanfeed on our computer and it won't let me look at 'lingerie' (or check my lottery numbers) but a google search should bring them up.

ooh I would have suggested mava but you're not getting on with it.i agree about bravissimo..might be worth a look.

Hah, this is (was) me too. I got measured at John Lewis (fab) and they fitted me with a 34H or even 34J i think by Royce (as in Rolls??) style 569, cottony so nice and fresh, non itchy, non squishy, I have very big boobs esp when feeding. Which I'm not any more so it's time I got back there to be measured...
oh I've read the messages now and see eddm says Royce too
Awful that you are all suffering with saggy boobs etc. JLP is the place, I was never so happy as I was once meausred there, so many women wear the wrong size bra, rant rant (sorry, must get off hobby horse...)

I can remember when I was breastfeeding and I had one of those awful bra's with zips underneath the cups.In my rush to wind my ds I often got my boobs caught in those zips.I hope you can find something more comfortable Bogwoppit!fingers crossed xxx

Defnitely the Royce bras at bravissimo they go up to an L cup (think at my biggest was a 34L). You can only get white in this size so I dyed mine with a black die and it came really well, black and grey, looked very posh actually!!
