What does your 2 yr old drink milk from?

Ds1 is two this week. Bottle refuser. Started accepting cows milk from a nuby grip and sip and have stuck with that for his morning and bedtime milk at about 13 months. He was bf the rest of the time.

He stopped bf at 19 months, but still has the am and pm milk. He loves it! But I'm wondering if I should stop using the grip n sip cup? He drinks water from a free flow sippy, a sports bottle, a 360 cup and an open cup. I only give an open cup when I'm closely supervising though (have a 5 month old too.....) as he likes to empty them out.

So, wondering if I should swap to the 360 cup or is it OK to carry on with the grip n sip.

My 2.5 yo doesn't regularly have milk anymore but sometimes asks for it in the morning before breakfast. We were giving it to her in a free-flow sippy cup but we got so fed up of it being accidentally spilled everywhere that she now gets it in the 360 cup. It's much better!

A normal plastic cup

PotteringAlong · 22/07/2017 19:34

I.e., without a lid!

Our 2 year old uses a skip hop straw bottle for his evening milk, sometimes he will use an open cup but he prefers the bottle (so do I as it's less messy haha).

Plastic open IKEA cup. But milk only at the table.

MunchyMunchkin · 23/07/2017 16:06

Plastic open ikea cup here as well.

Milk in a Small open topped cup. Water in the munchkin 360 cup.

My 2yo still loves her baby bottle and drinks milk out of that 2-3 x day. Attempts to swap to something else go down very very badly with lots of squawking and screaming. I know we will have to go cold turkey on them soon but she does love them.

Should add - she drinks water out of an open plastic cup or glass very well.

Ecureuil · 23/07/2017 19:55

A normal open plastic beaker. Has done since about 15 months.

(She was 2 last week)

Ikea cup as well. But only when she's at the table.
I know you didn't ask but water and juice she likes in her munchkin 360. Dd was 2. 2.5 weeks ago.

Thanks, he has his milk upstairs sitting on the bed atm, so wont be using an open cup!!

He drinks milk.nicely from an open cup at the table. .

DD has hers sat on the sofa. We haven't had a spillage for a while!

FaithAgain · 23/07/2017 20:52

DD (4) had a tommee tippee beaker until a few weeks ago! Too many spillages to do anything with an open lid.

An open cup, but it must be drank by a table and left on a table too. He has water etc in a 360 cup in his playroom and for out and about.

BumWad · 23/07/2017 20:56

Normal cup or miracle cup in the day

However still has a bottle at night.

He has just turned 2 and loves his milk but eats well too
