Can anyone help/offer advice?
My 9 week old has started sleeping more during the night which is great, but it means I am having major problems with engorgement. My boobs just aren't getting that I need to drop a feed. I keep waking up in big wet patches (sorry if TMI!) Apart from expressing before I go to bed, which I dont want to do as then boobs will fill up again even more. Is there anything else I can do? Or will they eventually settle down naturally?

Mmmm more sleep - lovely! Ds dropped a middle of the night feed at this age and it did take a bit for my supply to twig.

Definitely don't express as this will make things worse (as you know). IIRC it took a few days for things to calm down but they did naturally without me having to take any specific action.

I did get a bout of mastitis around this time but I think it was because I stupidly wore a too tight bra top to bed which caused a blockage, so be careful of that sort of thing.
